Here's my dad (Don Sr.) at Vallejo Speedway in 1977. This was a stockcar he drove at Vallejo and Antioch Speedways. |
Rick (Doc) Brophy drove this Pinto bodied car at Antioch Speedway in 1980. After this he went on to drag racing with his last effort being a jet car. |
1986 Baylands limited sprints Jim Booth, Brian Gray, and myself lining up for the main event. |
Present Antioch Speedway promotor John Soares in his Winston Cup car at Riverside Raceway. I believe this was 1987. |
Also at Riverside my wife Linda was lucky enough to get Junior Johnsons' autograph. He signed autographs for over an hour that day. |
In 1992 Moose and Cowboy Jim were our crew members. We ran the last 20 races of that season together. Moose still is a top wrench and Jim last we heard he fell in love and hasn't been seen sense. |
Jim Booths' NCMA car as it appeared in 1992(I think). Jim has run for years with the NCMA and was even club president for a few. |
Putnumville Ind. in 1996. We ran this track 5 times during stay in the Indy area while we had a shop for our Silver Crown effort. |
Our friends Jan and Bobby Davis just finished this sharp looking car. It's an 88 Challenger that Bobby has updated. They plan to run Bandit Sprint series. |

Our friend Dale Johnston packs the track at the Oklahoma City Fair grounds 1/2 mile in 96. Dale liked it back there so much he moved there with his wife Tracy this past year. |
